Made in Russia Forum to Spotlight High-Tech Exports and Global Innovation Partnerships
The Made in Russia Forum will spotlight high-tech exports, international innovation partnerships and advanced Russian products in Moscow on November 16, as trade between Russia and India rises to $47.7 billion.
The high-tech agenda will shape the forum's business programme, with discussions covering technology exports, international partnerships and strategies for expanding the global reach of Russian companies.
For Indian partners, the Made in Russia programme has become a practical tool for entering the Russian market. On August 21, 2026, the Russian Export Center opened its first permanent Made in Russia national pavilion in India, located in Navi Mumbai. It is the programme's eighth pavilion abroad. Participating companies include MAKFA, United Confectioners and Miratorg.
By the end of the year, REC plans to launch a pilot project to introduce Made in Russia shelves in Indian retail outlets. In September, the organisation arranged a business mission involving 23 Russian companies at INNOPROM India in New Delhi. Earlier, in May, a business programme in Mumbai resulted in agreements with an export potential of more than million.
Bilateral trade between India and Russia has also recorded growth. According to India's Ministry of Commerce and Industry, trade between the two countries increased by 24.3% in January–July 2026, reaching .7 billion.
The 2026 forum programme will focus on priority areas of foreign economic activity. Technology exports and high-tech promotion will be central to discussions, with participants examining how Russian companies can expand supplies of knowledge-intensive products, integrate into global value chains and identify partners for joint innovation projects.
The agenda will also cover the effects of geopolitical shifts on international trade, changes in global supply chains and mechanisms to strengthen the export potential of small and medium-sized businesses. Financing for foreign economic activity and the adoption of modern digital solutions will be other key areas of discussion.
Direct business meetings between Russian exporters and international partners will remain an important part of the event. The forum will bring together representatives of federal and regional authorities, businesses, banks, export support centres, industry associations and trade groups. Foreign delegations, financial institutions, trade and logistics companies, and leading industry exporters are also expected to participate.
The event will provide a platform for dialogue and the exchange of experience among stakeholders, targeting entrepreneurs seeking to expand their businesses, enter export markets and establish reliable partnerships.
Alongside the business programme, REC will organise a Made in Russia exhibition at the National Centre RUSSIA, showcasing technology solutions developed in Russian regions. An interactive zone featuring advanced products from Russian exporters will highlight developments by Russian technology companies.
The exhibition will present solutions across key areas of human life and the national economy, including medicine, robotics, industry and information technology. The showcase will complement the forum's discussions by presenting products and projects positioned for entry into international markets.
The previous edition of the forum attracted participants from more than 100 countries. Across 18 multi-format events, 140 leading speakers addressed participants, including Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The event recorded more than 500 business-to-business (B2B) meetings, while its online broadcasts generated more than 6.3 million impressions.
The upcoming edition is expected to continue the forum's focus on international business engagement, export development and the promotion of Russian products and technologies in overseas markets.
